July!

First it started off July long weekend we went camping in beaver mines. Taylor did a lot better this camping trip then the last. She was happy the whole time. This was also the weekend that she finally decided to start using her soother and let me tell you it has made nap time SOOOO much easier! No more fighting and screaming!

Grandma and Grandpa came over for supper a couple days before he left for work.

Thunder in the valley we decided to just sleep in the van so we wouldn't have to deal with the traffic. It was a perfect idea because it started to pour and while everyone was scrambling trying to find shelter we were sitting in the van watching movies :o)

I was so excited when Taylor woke up about 5 mins before the fireworks started because I thought she would love the bright lights! At first she was watching them and when I looked again a couple mins later she was passed out.. I was wrong lol

The next morning we went to Allison Lake so Kenny could fish... again he didn't have much luck just a couple bites

I heard sirens one day and I looked out the window to see a fire truck right in front of our house. About ten mins later the whole roof was engulfed in flames

It took them a couple hours to get it out. This is the after math

Earlier this month she could sit but needed help because she would fall to the sides. 2 Weeks after that she was sitting by herself!!

To finish off the month, we went camping again at Keho Lake with the Bevans family. Jaclyne, Jamie, Kyle and Ryker came out to visit as well.

Taylor wasn't a huge fan of the water. It was to cold for her, she started crying...So I set up her own little way to cool her off back at camp

That's our month! She is sitting, doing push ups, giggling, plays with her feet all the time now and still talking like crazy!

Jumping Around...

Earlier this month we got Taylor ears periced. Here is a picture for those of you who haven't had a chance to see them yet! She did really good! We bought some cream to freeze them and I think it actually worked because she didn't even flinch! The only part she didn't like was me having to hold her head still, as soon as I let go she was smiling and happy again!

I bought Taylor a Jolly Jumper today and she is LOVING it! She has almost spend 3 hours in it today an hour each time. Every time I put her in she is getting better and better at first she would just kinda stand around and fall to the side to bounce back up and spin around. Now she is actually jumping!!

The month of June was not as busy as May but lots still happened.

  At the beginning of the month Taylor started holding her toys to play with them and shaking her rattle.

  At the beginning of the month she rolled from her back to belly about 5 times and then I could not get her to do it again. About half way through the month she finally did it again and this time Grandma and Grandpa Wilson seen it. (so I wasn't lieing!) At her 3 month photo shoot that we did at the end of the month, she was rolling around like crazy and finally rolled from back to belly. Now she doesn't stay on her back very long anymore and prefers to be on her stomach. This morning when I went to get Taylor out of her crib she had done a 180 (her head was now where her feet where when I put her to bed) and was on her stomach.

  Taylor set a new record for sleeping! 10.5 hours! There was a week that she was waking up at 430-530ish everyday so I was scared that my full night sleeps were over but after the week things went back to normal, phew! Just a growth spurt!

  We had Taylor's 3 month appointment this month. She then weighted 13lbs 4oz and it 25" long. The Doctor said everything looks good and that Taylor is a little bit on the skinny side but would rather have a skinny baby then a obese baby.

  Held a her bottle and takes it really good now. Its such a pain in the butt to pump tho that I would just rather nurse.

  She is turning her head towards sound now, and smiles every time Kenny or I talk to her (unless there is a camera out!)

  This month I started putting Taylor in her exersauser that Auntie Chrystal and Uncle David got for her. She is still a little bit small so I have to wrap a blanket around her. Taylor loves it! The first time she was in it for over an hour! Checking out all the toys and staring at them. She tries to eat them but just can't get close enough.

  Kenny FINALLY got Taylor to giggle!! For the last couple months it looked like she was going to but no sound would come out. Finally it did! Its the most amazing sound, It made my heart melt! Jaclyne also got one out of her while we were camping.

July is going to be a very busy month! Camping, Street Wheelers, Thunder in the Valley, Fishing, Hiking, Air Show, Shots :o( and Camping again! Hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

Taylor 3 Month Photoshoot!!

We entered Taylor in a cutest kid contest earlier this month, we didn't win but because it was so close both 1st and 2nd place won a photo shoot! (Thanks Ash :o)) Taylor didn't really want to cooperate with us. When we put her on her belly she'd roll to her back, when we'd try to take pictures on her side she'd roll to her belly. (She rolled from her side to her belly for the first time!!) Because we stopped at Grandma and Grandpa A's first and Taylor didn't get a chance to have much of a nap she was tired and a little grumpy the whole time. She also used up all her smiles with them and then wouldn't smile for us! Note to self... from now on photo shoots first thing in the morning! They still turned out awesome and I love them!! I cant wait to see the rest! Here's our sneak peak!

* 1st Day of Summer *

Today was the first day of summer, and man was it a beautiful day! Taylor and I (Jess) went with Jaclyne to Boston Pizza for Lunch. Taylor was smiling and looking around the whole time! I got to eat my WHOLE meal with out a peep! Then we went shopping and got a couple sleepers, some jeans, baby bracelet and new glasses...
