Here Grandma, this ones for you!!

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!! I know we did! We had a relaxing Christmas eve of making gingerbread houses watching movies and having a picnic. Christmas morning we had German apple pancakes for breakfast (something my family does every year) then took Roxy for a walk down at popson park. For Christmas dinner we went to my aunt and uncles house with the whole family which was wonderful and so yummy!! Boxing day we played some mario together went and got some shelves for the baby's room then went to my Grandmas for dinner to see more family! The only thing missing was Kennys parents.

Baby update: We're in the home streach, the 3rd trimester. Baby now weights approximitly 2.3lbs and is 14.8" long. At about this time he/she can open its eyes and turn its head if he/she see's a continuious bright light shinning from the outside. Its fat layers are forming and fingernails will appear.

He/she is moving around all the time now, when I sit and relax or lay down I can actually see my stomach moving, which I think is even more amazing then feeling it! Now its real lol Kenny still puts his head on my stomach and talks to baby a couple times a day and giggles everytime he feels it move. Last week I went and got my diabeties blood work and my rhogam shot (which wasnt as bad as I thought it would be) but I did fail the sugar test so now this week I have to go back for more tests.. Dangit! I shoulda stayed away from the chocolates at work before I went in :o)

I have 5 whole days off this weekend (for new years) so I am finally going to paint and finish the nursery I cant wait! I'll post pictures as soon as I'm done.

Finally some belly pictures!

24 weeks

Last week we went to my work Christmas party and before we left we took a couple pictures. I was just over 24 weeks, and am starting to feel HUGE. I cant wait for baby to come out so I can start a diet plan! I'm already starting to get sick of being pregnant and cant wait for him/her to bless us with his presents! Baby has been moving around a lot lately and getting stronger. Kenny loves to put his head on my belly and feel all the movement, and he is so cute to listen to and watch. He is starting to get really excited and is going to be an amazing dad!! When he is gone he make me put the phone on my belly so he can talk to the baby and every time he doesn't he/she moves or kicks! Baby already knows who his daddy is. Baby is now 1.5lbs and approximately 13.5 inches, its crazy how fast they grow!

I had my last appointment with my family doctor last week and I now start with my ob'gyn on the 13th and on the 22nd I have to take my diabetes test, some more blood tests and get a needle in my butt!! Which I am not looking forward to! but since I am Rh- (blood type) I have to get it or my body will attack the baby if he/she is Rh+. So it will be worth it in the end!

Also this month on the 17th Kenny will be writing his final exam and will be done his first year of plumbing!! Yay!! 1 down and 3 more to go! I'm so proud of him! So far he is really enjoying it and loves going to work. He has also done a couple side jobs (put in a new kitchen and bathroom sink for my parents) So if any of you need and plumbing done ;O)

I cant wait till Christmas!! We aren't doing much for it this year, just going to spend same time together just the 2 of us and a couple family dinners. (since it will be the last Christmas just the 2 of us) Most of all I am looking forward to having 3 days off then 2 half days then another 5 off!! So we will have lots of time to get baby's room all painted up and ready.
